Are you a fan of fun runs? Get your running shoes ready because the City2South Fun Run is back. It will be held on the 3rd-4th of June.

Those who wish to join can sign up for the 5km or the 14km run. A free event t-shirt will be provided for each participant. The 5km course will start within The University of Queensland in Saint Lucia ending in Musgrave Park, just off Russell Street in South Brisbane. The 14km course will be start at George Street in the CBD and will finish in Musgrave Park.

Aside from running, the Fun Run is also packed with other exciting activities. An open air cinema showing the extended version of University of Queensland’s award-winning Lion, as well as live entertainment. There will also be an F45 outdoor training session.

The City2South Fun Run is open for runners of all experience levels. Whether you’re a newbie or an elite distance runner, you can definitely do the available run courses.

Feeling hungry? There will be food trucks to satisfy your hunger as well! Keep your kids occupied with activities that help them channel their energies positively.

Held by Fairfax Events, the City2South continues to promote health and wellness aware for everyone. Once again partnering with Australian charities, the aim is to raise more than $125,000 for several of their worthy causes. In 2016, they were able to raise $100,000 with more than 5,000 participants.
