Police have called for any possible witnesses to an incident involving robbery with violence which occurred in St Lucia last night, 18th May, in Dell Street.

Preliminary investigations show that a 25-year old man was inside his black BMW Z4, parked along Herschel Street, in the Brisbane CBD, when another car apparently collided with his stationary vehicle.

The aggrieved driver then followed the offending vehicle to St Lucia, where the fleeing car had crashed into a tree. The two occupants alighted from the car, assaulted the man, stole his BMW, and fled. The two men, described as Caucasians in their mid-20s, with brown hair and wearing dark, hooded jumpers were last seen in St. Lucia, driving along Boomerang Street.

The driver of the BMW sustained minor injuries from the assault and was treated at the scene.

The black, 2013-model BMW Z4 has Queensland registration tag 704-XBP. Police are looking for any information from witnesses who may have seen or know about the whereabouts of the car and the two unidentified men.
